Surely One Of The Most Idiotic Prescription Drug Warnings

Patti's Comments:  I just had to share this as it made me laugh!! As an allergy sufferer - and I do mean suffer - I have been taking medications with these types of warnings my ENTIRE LIFE! What I want to know is if they are so strong, why do I still suffer from allergies and asthma?? I would gladly give up driving, but most of these meds have little to no impact on me! Sigh---

People often ask how I find the stories for Legal Juice. I found this one on the back page of the "A" section of yesterday's Washington Post. I was skimming a full-page ad for a new allergy drug called "Xyzal." Ignore, if you can, the idiotic name "Xyzal." In the not-so-fine print, I read the following:

Do not take Xyzal if you are allergic to Xyzal ...
